In collaboration with SaltoTalk, the artist residency invites to an evening walk during which the South Tyrolean artist Stefano Bernardi will make the woods of the Gleifwald resound. In his installations, he develops unusual instruments with which he performs his own compositions.

Stefano Bernardi born in 1970 in Bolzano, Italy and lives and works in his home town. In 1996 he completed his studies at docuemntary film and new media school Zelig, at Bolzano. He is working as sound engineer and since many years creating sound installations. He develops unusual instruments with which he performs his own compositions or invites other musicians and the audience to interact. He played with the collective The Comfort Zone, pianist Francesca D‘Aste in duo UBIK and Daniela Cattivelli, since 1984 plays in the rock band ZIZ. He exhibited at Museion (Bolzano), Lungomare (Bolzano), MAXXI (Roma), Manifesta 7, Kunst Haus Meran, Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), Galleria Civica (Trento), Castel Sant’Angelo (Bressanone), Transart Festival South Tyrol, Jazzfestival Alto Adige.
