Fimo and Slime-Workshop

The Fimo World workshop will be offered at Gandegg Castle as part of the Kids Culture Club.
Since 2019, artist Philip Wiegard has been working with polymer clay, known under the brand name FIMO, a modelling clay that, once shaped, is baked in a standard oven. With his YouTube tutorials, he gained significant recognition in the international and vibrant Creative Community.
For four days, children and their parents can participate in the workshop, learn different modelling techniques, and visit Wiegard's exhibition, where large, complex Fimo images will be displayed. These are not the typical plasticine figures that one immediately thinks of, but rather complex mosaic-like images that are created through various techniques.
Modelling clay offers children numerous opportunities for creative development. For example, children can express themselves creatively by learning how to mix Fimo colours, create marble effects, or three-dimensional effects with the material.

Im Rahmen des Kids Culture Club wird der Workshop Fimo World im Schloss Gandegg angeboten. Philip Wiegard arbeitet seit 2019 mit Polymer-Ton, einer unter dem Markennamen FIMO bekannten, ofenhärtenden Modelliermasse. Er hat sich mit seinen Youtube-Tutorials bereits einen Namen in der internationalen und überaus lebendigen Kreativ-Community gemacht.
Für 4 Tage können Kinder, sowie deren Eltern am Workshop teilnehmen, sich verschiedene Techniken in diesem Handwerk aneignen und die Ausstellung Wiegards besichtigen, in der große komplexe Fimo Bilder zu sehen sind. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um typische Plastilinfiguren, die man sofort im Kopf hat, sondern um komplexe mosaikartige Bilder, die durch bestimmte Techniken entstehen können.
Die Modelliermasse bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Kinder, sich kreativ auszuleben, es wird unter anderem gelernt, ob man Fimofarben mischen kann, wie man Marmoreffekte erzielt oder wie man dreidimensionale Effekte entstehen lässt.

Nell'ambito del Kids Culture Club, a Castel Gandegg verrà offerto il laboratorio Fimo World. Dal 2019 l’artista Philip Wiegard lavora con l'argilla polimerica nota con il marchio FIMO, un argilla da modellare che viene indurita al forno. Con i suoi tutorial su YouTube si è già fatto un nome nel panorama internazionale e nella vivace Comunità Creativa.
Per 4 giorni, i bambini e i loro genitori possono partecipare al laboratorio, imparando le diverse tecniche di modellazione e visitare l'esposizione di Wiegard, dove saranno esposte grandi e complesse immagini in Fimo. In questo caso non si tratta delle tipiche figure in plastilina a cui si pensa immediatamente, ma piuttosto di complesse immagini simili a mosaici che possono essere create attraverso una serie di tecniche particolari.
L'argilla da modellare offre ai bambini numerose opportunità di sviluppo creativo. I/le bambini/e possono esprimersi in maniera creativa imparando come mescolare i colori Fimo, come creare effetti di marmo o come è possibile creare effetti tridimensionali con il materiale.
